DataMotion Expands Management Team to Accelerate Innovation
Software Industry Veteran, Sef Baydurcan, Named Vice President of Technology
FLORHAM PARK, N.J., September 20, 2018– DataMotion™, aleading provider of secure data exchange services today announced it has added a Vice President of Technology to its management team to further support the company’s growth and customer demand. The company’s secure data exchange platform (SDX) makes security and compliance a seamless part of sensitive information workflows while reducing costs and improving operational efficiencies at enterprise scale in financial services, healthcare and the public sector. Named to the newly created post is Sef Baydurcan, a software industry veteran with over 25 years of success in developing commercial software products. In this role, Baydurcan will be tasked with leading technical activities for the company in engineering, quality assurance, support and operations.

Previously, Baydurcan was VP of Engineering for Project Incur, a startup developing project management and expense tracking software. Prior to that, he spent over ten years with Rsam, a provider of risk and compliance management SaaS services, where he led engineering and played a leading role in helping the company build an enterprise platform for Fortune 2000 companies worldwide. He has also held software development management positions with Synavant, Magic Solutions Software, Computron Software and CDP Inc, leading development efforts for mobile devices, multi-tiered web-based enterprise platforms and products with microservices architecture. He has also helped develop a search engine licensed by Microsoft. Baydurcan holds a BS in Computer Science and a ME in Computer and Information Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
