Collaboration Provides HIPAA-Compliant Secure Messaging for Insurance Self-Service Portals and Mobile Applications

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., November 14, 2018– DataMotion, a leading provider of data privacy and security solutions, today announced it has partnered with Zipari, Inc., an insurance software startup that specializes in providing Consumer Experience (CX) solutions for health plans, to safeguard and maximize consumer engagement by embedding HIPAA-grade security and privacy into Zipari-based web portals and mobile applications. The partnership will provide health plans with a seamless and secure customer service solution powered by industry leading technology.

DataMotion secures and automates workflows that exchange sensitive data for a wide variety of customer-facing applications in health care, government, financial and insurance industries. For example, the DataMotion Secure Message Center solution, which integrates with Zipari’s technology, provides a secure and private communications channel for members, health care providers and other stakeholders in patient care to efficiently access health plan services, increase response speed and enhance overall consumer satisfaction. The DataMotion Secure Message Center combined with the Zipari CX platform lets members and providers connect with health plan representatives using familiar email features within their portal account.
